Ok, on a previous post, I introduced my first attempt to dye the bunnies really red for my two smallest babies because they are addicted, truly addicted to the AR Razorbacks. A little brainwashing may have taken place, but hey, isn’t that what Dads do when it comes to sports?? 🙂
1st attempt at bunny coloring! Didn’t go so well as you can see… LOL
Now, I learned a lesson with this. The bunny hair was synthetic and colorants like Rit will not work on some materials. So what did I do? I ordered some red pigment dye that is suppose to work well with synthetic fabrics. It is called Dharma pigment dye. This dye you have to “paint” on. So I put some gloves on and finger painted this liquid onto the bunnies, not once but twice. They are currently curing.. then they will need a good washing and blowout. 🙂
Here are the new and improved Razorback Red bunnies. They are very bright and as close as they are going to get to the color the babies love. Hahahaha.
New and improved redness.
Perhaps Lobster red??
Yay red pigment dye! My babies will be thrilled!!!
